I have a bad case of the "Don't Want to do Anything" disease at work today, and hence, had the time to discover the following Windows bug. When clicking a mailto: link (which calls a start mailto:x), the computer spits out the following error message:

Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed.

Then IE proceeds to open a zillion additional windows of itself, all with the "No page to display; Action Canceled." message displayed.

What idiotic function is opening a hundred windows when it fails? Anyone?
