Bread!

As some of you know, baking my own bread is something I do down here. There are a few reasons, one of which is that making bread yourself is cheaper. It also tastes better, has a better texture (After eating homemade bread, you realize the store-bought stuff is like 60% air) and makes awesome toast. So let's make some bread!

Step one - make the dough batter. This consists of water, sugar, oil, yeast, milk, a pinch of salt and some flour. Mix it all together and you get....lumpy tan stuff.

Step two - add flour and stir everything together.

Step three - after mixing thoroughly, dump the stuff out and roll up your sleeves!

Step four - knead for a good ten minutes. When done, it should look like this:

This is a good time to listen to some good break-makin' music.

Step five - let it rise.

Step six - realize that your recipe makes two loaves of bread, and you only have one pan. Oops. Luckily, Wal-Mart is just around the corner!

Off we go!

Yay! We arrive!

Do they have what I want?

Hooray, they do!

Meanwhile, back at home...

Step seven - cut the bread into two halves.

Step eight - put 'em into pans and let 'em rise for a second time.

Step nine - Bake!

Step ten - Remove from oven, enjoy!

(Oh yeah, the entire bread gallery.)
